![]() Do I need to register to use the DSI placement services at the meeting? All attendees at DSI meetings are required to register for the meetings, even if they are only there for recruiting purposes. You can register online on the DSI Website. Everyone who registers is allowed access to the Placement Services Area, which includes a Message Center that you can use to contact applicants. How can I arrange for a reserved interview table at the conference in November? Employers who have listed positions with DSI Placement Services can reserve interview tables at a cost of $200 for the entire conference. Reservations can be made prior to November 13th (reservations will be accepted after November 13th on a space-available basis) by sending an e-mail to dsi@gsu.edu or fax to (404) 413-7714) with the following information:
Will there be any interview tables available at the conference free of charge? Some tables will be available at the Placement Center free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. Employers may also choose to meet candidates in the Placement Center and go elsewhere for interviews (e.g., a lobby or hotel room). It will also be possible for employers to leave messages at the Placement Center to inform candidates where to go for interviews. If I am only going to the conference to interview, is it necessary to register for the conference? Yes. I just submitted a listing and paid for it using my credit card, how can I get a receipt so I can get reimbursed by my University? An automatic email receipt will be emailed to the contact person on the ad once the credit card is processed. If another receipt is needed, please email us at dsi@gsu.edu and we will mail one to you. How can I change a previously-submitted job listing? Under the "Instructions" link, case #6 addresses this. Note that on the job listing search screen, you must select the "Detailed" output type(not "Brief," which is the default) in order for an "Edit" button to appear next to your listing. When I follow the instructions for updating my position listing, I do not get the 'Edit' button next to my listing. What is wrong? If you had previously looked at the detailed view without logging in, then after you log in your web browser reloads the earlier view from cache memory, and that view does not include the edit button. You can resolve this as follows: close down your browser and reopen it, then log in to the placement system and select the detailed view. |
